Rob Ely, Senior Review Appraiser, joined CES in January of 2010.  Rob has more than 21 years of experience in the Commercial and Residential Real Estate Valuation Industry.  Mr. Ely has been instrumental in CES’ growth over the past three years and for its standing as one of the preeminent Appraisal and Evaluation Management providers to the Regional and Community Banking Industry.

Under Rob’s guidance as one of the company’s Senior Review Appraisers, CES has continued to deliver consistent, high-quality, professional real estate collateral valuation management and advisory services, in our cost-efficient business model.

Rob leads CES in its continued growth and development in the use of technology, keeping us apprized and on top of using the latest and best software developments available.  This has resulted in constant improvement with the manner in which we perform and deliver all of our services.

Rob’s experience in the Appraisal of Commercial and Residential Real Estate covers a 21 year span, with 13 years as an independent fee appraiser and State Assessor, and more than 8 years as Chief Appraiser of two large Community Banks with average asset sizes of $5.5B within the State of California. He is Certified General Appraiser in the State of Colorado.

Rob is a published industry expert with the Risk Management Association and American Banking Association with articles such as “Appraisals and Evaluations: The Most Recent Interagency Guidelines” and “Internal Controls and Best Practices for Appraisal Departments.”

Rob continues his professional educational requirements through the Appraisal Institute. Rob studied Political Science and Business at Stephen F. Austin and Blinn College, respectively. He is currently completing a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate from the Marylhurst University.
